Summary
'Macbeth' is about a story of this person Macbeth who is a good and brave person before he became bad. In Act 1, Scene1 he meet 3witches who can tell the future and told him he would become the king. In Act 1, Scene2 it involves 2 war that macbeth fought. First it was with merciless macdonwald who was supported by foot soliders and horsemen but all too weak for brave macbeth who won the battle. Then Norwegian king had saw his chance and began a fresh assault, led by the disloyal traitor Cawdor. However macbeth and the captain did not give in and fought twice as hard. In the end, they won the war once again.( unfortunately the captain was injuried) The Norwegian king then wanted a treaty, king Duncan will not even let them bury their soliders unless they retreat to Saint colme's inch and paid them $10000. Macbeth was then promoted to Cawdor's title like the witches had predicted causing macbeth starting to believe in them..
I think that the theme is actually war, being greedy.
Favorite person in 'Macbeth'
If i have to chose someone i like most in this story i think it would be the captain. Even though the captain is not the main character. One of the reason is because of his loyalty. Despite of his injuries he immediately reported to the king to tell him the latest news and also did not betray his king. The captain is also brave like macbeth as he is not frighten of new challenges like the sparrow eagles, or the hare the lion as the passage states.
What i learnt
From 'Macbeth' i learn that we should actually appreciate what we have because being greedy will always led to trouble. Even if we know what will happened in the future we should be patience and not do something bad just because you could not wait. For example, macbeth had kill King Duncan as he knew he would become the king in future. From this story, i have also learnt that we should sometimes be firm with what we think and not get influence easliy but we know its wrong like how macbeth was influence by lady macbeth as she wanted to be the queen and persuded macbeth to kill the king.

Macbeth

Last week lesson, we learned about the act 1 scene 2 of macbeth story. And now i will give a short summary of this scene. At first the captain arrived meeting with King Duncan and describing the process and what happened during the war. It was a war with Mcdonwald and in the end mcdonwald got defeated by macbeth. Soon the second war with their new enemy Norwegian King began and the ending was still the same- macbeth won the war, however the captain was injured. The norwegian king then wanted a treaty, as they wanted norwegian king to retreat and paid them 10000 dollars and they wouldn't let the norwegian buried their soldiers showing disrespect and dishonour.
I think that it is quite interesting to read shakespeare's play as in each line there is always 10 , syllabus in each line. I think it is quite hard to read the original text as i do not really understand but now i can still manage with having the modern text. I hope to understand the passage more in future.

Improbable event

Hello, today i am going to write a diary post about someone telling me something impossible and did it happen? Did i believe it? And it will goes like this.

Dear diary,

It going to be my birthday soon and this year something mysterious happened. It happened in the early morning in a particular day. I was walking home after school and out of a sudden something caught my eyes. There is this lady in front of me at first i thought she was calling others but then i realized that she seems to be calling for me as there no one behind me. without hesitation i just walk towards her not knowing what she say would change things. She say something special to me on my birthday and pass me a flower. Just as i was about to ask her why she told me that, she disappeared without leaving a trace. Maybe i was just daydreaming i thought, however i was really holding a flower. I did not believe what she said but due to curiosity, wild thoughts did race through my mind about what would happened on my birthday.

Day went by and it was my birthday, i was invited to my friend's house to do project however when i arrived at the lift i recieved a message saying that they had something on and got to cancel it. Leaving with a little disappointment i went home. Just as i was under my block i saw a beautifully wrap present on the table feeling curious i walked towards it. 'Happy birthday!' i heard voices behind me it was my friends and classmate, while one of my friend hold a birthday cake and we all had a wonderful time.

In the end, something special really happen to me on my birthday. From here i realized that we do not actually need to know what will happen in the future as long as we work hard for what we want, we will get what we want.

CINQVAIN

For this week lesson, we have also learn about CINQVAIN. Actually 'Cinq' stands for 5 in french, so Cinqvain is a 5lines poems and the format goes like this. 1 line writes the noun/topic, 2 line writes 2 adjectives, 3 line writes 3 gerunds, 4 line writes a sentence and the 5 line writes a synonym. A example that we did in class is

blooming, moving, watering

O! How attractive you are.

I think that Cinqvain is quite fun to write compare to other poems. It is simple, u can express yourself with just a few lines and it does not have to rhyme like other poems. In this lesson, I have also learn a bit more about my classmates when some of them share with us their cinqvain. I hope to know a few more ways to write poems that are similar to writing cinqvain. (:

William Shakespeare

Hi everyone, this should be the first official post for this blog. In this blog i would writing all about literature. So during literature lessons we have been learning about without question, the world's most famous playwright- William Shakespeare.

William Shakespeare was the eldest son in the family, he married a local farmer's daughter, Anne Hathaway, at the age of 18 years old. They have 3 children, but unfortunately his only son, hamlet died at the age of 11. William Shakespeare had written and collaborate 38 plays, 154 sonnets and 5 poems. He and his troupe had built 'The Globe Theatre' but a cannon-shot it causing the entire theatre burnt to the ground. Lastly William shakespeare died at the aged of 52 in Stratford-upon-Avon and his last direct descendant died in 1670, which is is granddaughter. It about it for this post. Byes~
